Meet Drifting Tunes, an Edmonton based singer / songwriting duo whose original tunes and thoughtfully curated Folk / Blues-Roots / Americana covers draw on rich, colourful imagery from the wide open skies and vast landscapes of places they’ve sojourned, telling the stories of their experiences and the people they've met.
Musical collaborators for over thirty years, Clare and Blain were a driving force in one of Guelph, Ontario’s premiere Celtic / British folk bands, Crazy Man Michael. Clare’s captivating, earthy vocals weave together with Blain’s tender harmonies, setting the stage for compelling and memorable musical performances.
Their tunes have drifted from one end of the continent to the other, from the mountains of Pennsylvania and West Virginia to Cowboy saloons in the South West to geodesic domes in the Mojave as well as across the beautiful provinces of Canada.
