Over thirty years ago, Clare met Blain at a "Deadwood saloon on a South Dakota afternoon". This chance encounter led to a five-year musical odyssey as the driving force behind Guelph, Ontario’s premiere Celtic-Folk inspired band, Crazy Man Michael. Now, they are Drifting Tunes.
Their blend of roots, country, a dash of bluegrass and acoustic folk creates a sound so inviting that it feels like a warm hug. Clare’s earthy, powerful vocals, woven with Blain’s tender harmonies and crisp guitar arrangements, set the stage for musical performances that stir emotion and imagination.
